Cortisol is a steroid hormone that your adrenal glands produce and release. Cortisol affects several aspects of your body and mainly helps regulate your body's response to stress. Cortisol levels are highest in the morning. That's why it's important to take this tincture first thing upon awakening. It begins to start regulating cortisol levels and helping them get back to normal allowing you to deal with the days stress. We start with real citrus in order to shut down the HSD enzyme from producing cortisol and then we add Ashwagandha to reduce stress and help keep serum cortisol level and then add Rhodiola to keep adrenaline levels at an even keel as well as Ginseng.
